caramel albino?

boacraze Apr 24, 2011 03:12 PM

Just curious if anyone has bred caramels to original strain and lavender albinos and have got to the point of a dbl visual? Like the carmirillo altramel x caramel dbl visual.............

As far as i know, no two lines of albinos are compatible. I know for a fact that ultramels and caramels aren't, because a few years ago, a combination was produced, but by breeding double hets together. I haven't heard if other lines are, but i think a lavender ultramel would be very cool looking!
Thanks,
Matt

I agree I don't think any of the albino strains are compatible! That's why I wascurious if anyone has dbl hets from the lavs or regulars to see if indeed there is a dbl visual. I love altramels also but I don't think they make caramels a disposable morph either! As adults go I actually like a really nice caramel over the altramel now the line of caramel seems to play a pivital role in this as well. As neonates go the altramel is definately the better looking of the 2 so I guess my question could be asked either way by using a altra or a caramel. I have visual caramels and het and pastel het altras so I'm not knocking either morph here or trying to make a debate between them there's just seems to be a lot of breeders replacing there caramel stock for altras but I think they both have there space I'm very aware of the kinking issues in caramels and I agree it does suck but I've been very selective with my out crossing and it seems to have really reduced it to a very minimal # thanks in advance to alls input on this dbl visual survey on albinos.
