how small? centrals have alot of morphs out there and stay smaller...
Five feet or less......
A male Hog Island boa are great to work with. Other than that I usually recommend a common Colombian boa male. Raised from a baby and handled properly they can be very rewarding and gentle snakes. Might exceed your 5 foot limit but a male won't get too big. For the most part the concept of boas and small don't always go together. Bill

The Retic is King.
Anacondas-the other Dark Side.
Afrocks-the dark side of the Dark Side.
I would go male central. there are lots of morph options in all price ranges from hypos around 80 bucks to t sunglow motleys 2000 easily under 5 feet
Where do I find these for sale??
on the classifieds on this site. just search CA or central american on the albino boas and morphs
I produce 10 litters a year of several different morphs and locales of Central American Boas, and they are by far my favorite. They stay smaller, eat less, and are extremely hearty!
