This is the seasons 1st litter for us and it was the one that had me guessing the whole time. A little about it: first she had a dry type shed and it happend "too soon" during breeding so it was sort of ignored, then i saw what i thought was an ovulation Jan. 15 but later noticed she stayed big that way and never followed by a POS so now I know it was a bunch of babies matured. Did my little mental math and had this litter pegged for mid May, but instead were born today! I noticed during my rounds she was skinny so I immediately glanced behind her and all i saw were little heads, tails and markings. You gotta love it when the babies arrive...She is a DH Sharp Sunglow and the dad was a Jungle het BWC. heres the pictues in progression as things happened:

15 babies, 2 slugs. 4 Hypo Jungle Para-hets. 2 Jungle Parahets. 2 Paraglows. 1 Jungle Paraglow. 6 normal and hypo Para-hets.

Decent averages and am very excited that all babies are full term and healthy.

Congrats Manny,
Can you post a pic of the jungle paraglow without the paraglow covering him up, his color looks awesome. Good odds by the way.

What's written above is purely my opinion. In fact, MOST of what you read on the internet is someone's opinion. Don't take it too seriously

Sorry guys I was a bit excited and didnt mean to keep anyone in suspense. This is the 100% certain Jungle of the Paraglows, theres 1 of the other 2 that is suspect to be a low expression. Also the Father of the litter was pretty low expression meanwhile most of the jungles are pretty extreme...

Thank you to all for your wonderful comments. Also I want to correct my previous post. all non Paraglow are 66% parahet not 100%.

Thanks again!

What a great litter. Those colors look like they come right out of a fruit loops box. Too cool. Let me be the first to offer you 5 geckos and a ball python for one of those. Just kidding Congrats on a great litter.

What a sweet boa... I like everything about it. The color...pattern and the little splotch on top of the nose... how cool!!
Would love to see something like that growing up in my collection!

Thanks to everyone for all the positive energy and well wishes expressed here. I'm so appreciative to get these from peers and friends which congregate here for hours on end daily and know so much by doing so..

Working with these majestic animals and being able to share our successes and failures here and this support group we all are for each other is really special. I hope we all recognize, appreciate and realize how lucky we are for each other.

Not trying to sound sappy, but we've been through a lot as a group within a hobby in terms of stress, financially, etc. As a group we herpers have been attacked and it's forums as well as the animals which make it all worth fighting back...

Thanks again folks..
