Ohio-Woman Cited After School Complains

EricWI Apr 28, 2011 09:52 AM

Is this what it has come to? Criminal charges for simply taking your pet outside? Oh what sad times we live in when a SCHOOL, of all places, calls in to complain of a 4 FOOT non venomous snake endangering the children, and of which was not even their property.

She should be grateful that she wasnt prosecuted for felony terrorism under the patriot act, and didnt end up in Gitmo being tortured by waterboarding and vicious dogs.

Cops can write you tickets for anything by being creative. This does not mean a judge will not throw out the charges. This ticket will most likely get thrown out of court.
In the strange world that is my family my step-grandmother was a town judge (really strange considering all the criminals in my family.) she was also known as a "hanging" judge. Knowing how she was I can tell you this ticket would have totally gotten tossed from her court and this was a woman who thought nothing about throwing people in jail for real crimes.

Pure blatant ignorance, by an educator, no less...only in America!

Just another case of socially acceptable and institutionally supported Class Discrimination.
