Tornado outbreak in AL and the South

coheed196 Apr 29, 2011 09:02 AM

Don't know how many people have heard about this, but on Apr 27 a series of tornadoes went through Alabama. As of this morning (Apr 29) the death toll is anywhere from 197 - 230. Ive heard both of those numbers and it is constantly changing. There is still a quarter of a million people without power statewide. There are people, myself included, that have found debris in our yards from towns and cities over 100 miles away. The tornado that went through Tuscaloosa, AL was over one mile wide. Anyways, if you're the praying type just keep the people of AL in your prayers. Here are some links of videos/pictures of the damage and tornadoes.

I got lucky, live in Pelham, no damage at all here. Many people got hit hard in the area, some lost everything.... So yeah, prayers are needed
