Well 5 out of 6 were in the pic. The 6th one scooted out just as the pic was taken. LOL 2-B&Ws, 2-blues, 1-red. The other red is absent....

Interesting photo with the different colors, Greg. Too bad the other Red took off. I have a question tho. Have you quarantined any of your new additions before introducing them to the others? I'm just curious as it is standard practice around here, but maybe I'm just paranoid because I've seen so much nasty stuff with the rescue animals.
Awesome question Jane!!!
Yes, we do, yet in the past have not done this with all our critters, primarily our bearded dragons. I am a stickler for healthy critters and am picky who I purchase from, what their diet has been, fecal examinations, etc. As you know more than I though, some individuals may not give accurate information. On the animal's history. One main aspect is (as most of ours lizards are) is the CB -v- WC aspect as well. Our WC uros that we've had all have been quaranteed for 1 month or longer depending on their condition. With the tegus, their fecals has been a major factor before introducing them to one another. I also want to make 100% sure (if at all possible) that they are eating well and have no respitatory ailment symptoms.
Thanks Jane and take real good care!!!

..
Thanks Phil! The little red one boogied though at the last second. LOL I need to get updated pics of the 2 reds together and the 2 B&Ws as well.

Wow, thats outstanding.

Thanks! We are fortunate with our 6 thus far. All our quite handable and do not bite. Well, the blue male thought my finger was a rodent once, though we won't count that! LOL The blues were fed live prey, thus I am acclimating them to the SDZ diet as well as chicken meat. It's progressing in a positive direction........
Take very good care Karen!
