Z enjoying his "rock pile"

Zach_MexMilk Apr 30, 2011 10:45 PM

Fed my Kern Co. Z a large meal of two weanlings yesterday, so he was in need of some basking under the lamp. Caught him enjoying his "rock pile" of layered cork bark with a sandstone base. "Moist hide" right next to the pile consisting of damp long fibered sphagnum. Cypress bedding.
Not my best looking setup, but going to upgrade in size soon, so hopefully I can provide a better environment.

What a beautiful zonata!
Its a trip how they like to squeeze into any crevice. The feel of the rock on their backs make them feel secure.

Keeping cats allows man to cohabitate with tigers. Keeping reptiles allows man to cohabitate with dinosaurs.
