i looked up on world of ball pythons .com and found some interesting results. why is a butter to a spider called a butter bee yet a mojave to spider called a mojo spider. i thought to be called a be there had to be pastel involved. i also looked up all other leusistic makeing morph ( phantom and fire) they are all called phantom spider and fire spider. so why are butters different. i am sure there is a price difference. just my thoughs but i think you have butter spiders not butter bees. any input would be great.

technically the term "bee" has been utilized with any combo that includes the spider trait. the confusion actually starts when you realized the butter and lesser are the exact same morph but with different names.

IF YOU ADD PASTEL INTO THE CLUTCH YOU WOULD GET QUEEN BEES AS WELL AS BUTTER BEES. TO BE CALLED A BEE YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE PASTEL IN THE SNAKE. IT ALL COMES DOWN TO WHO EVER MAKES THE SNAKE FIRST AND WHAT THEY WANT TO CALL THE IT.

NORMAL EXOTIC'S

The "bee" part is something that gets thrown in with a spider combo. As already mentioned, it all depends on what the first person to make the morph names it. If you look on NERDs website, they list this morphs as being named one of three things -butter spider, butter bee, or sputter. It's one of those annoying name games that takes place with ball pythons. As also already mentioned, a pastel butter spider is called a "queen bee", and I have seen this same morph done with a lesser (like Josh said, same morph, different name) called a lesser bee. I didn't make the rules, I'm just playing by them.

there are black bees,cinni-bees, butterbees and lesserbees, bumble bees, killerbees, etc etc etc...

queen bees are lesser pastel spiders,,,USUALLY,, butter pastel spider is called "butter"queen bee so people know it wasn't made with lesser...kingpin is lesser pin...it goes from there...

....as said...first hatched first named...usually...not always...
