Red Panthers are on the ground!

perfectpredators May 06, 2011 02:51 PM

Ok so this is one Im very proud of so I want to post to share with the fellas (and ladys . I named this litter the "Red Panther" litter. Because the Mom of this litter is what I call the second coming of the original Red Pastel Monstertail from Jeff Ronne. She's a very very choice niece but first for those that may not be familiar see a picture here of the original Ronne Red Monstertail:

Here's my animal the "second coming" and its a Hypo Pastel Monstertail at just under a year of age animal produce and picture taken by Jeff Ronne:

Here she is a little dark of course a few weeks ago pack with Red Panthers inside:

The plan is to inject a huge addition of color, a robust strong established gene, and contrast to most everyones favorite color morph the VPI Caramel Albino. I think its something that surprisingly hasn't been done as much as Id like and expect. Albeit theres great combos and visuals of Motleys, Jungles, Aztecs, however I wanted to produce something that can make all the existing combos out there just pop and explode with color and boldness when theyre bred into these Red Panthers which are 100% hets VPI (Pink Panther Phase). So I bred this animal to a VPI Pink Panther.

Thus the name Red Panther..LOL. Enjoy:

Thank you for looking!

Outstanding Manny! I love them and have the same breeding cooking over here with a very red orangetail girl and one of my DDPP males. Did you use a PP on her?

LucasMatlock May 06, 2011 11:01 PM

That is what selective breeding is all about Mr. Manny! Those babies will infuse more RED into the Pink Panther project making them even more beautiful than they already are. Nice work and congrats!
