Aspen bedding question

RossCA May 07, 2011 06:43 PM

Has anyone tried this particular brand? Is it just like Native Earth shredded Aspen?

I used it for years until it seemed to be getting increasingly dusty....Switched to Harlan that is also more dusty than I like...so I don't used either any longer.....
The stuff fron Nepco suits me fine these days.....

I use that exact brand. I get it from a lab supply company near me for $8 per bale if I buy 10 or more bales. It does a decent job for me. The snakes can burrow in it, and I haven't had and problems with them ingesting any *knock wood*. It is a bit dusty though. So when I first put it in their rack drawers I give the dust a couple minutes to settle before closing the drawer back up. But thats the only thing.

Theyre doing well Mark. I think two are definitely gravid with another three close behind. How are things at your end?
