2011 Pied

Ophidiophile May 08, 2011 06:47 PM

When this guy crawled out of his egg, my jaw dropped. I love his one saddle and also the way his neck pattern kind of fades out...

Every Piebald I have ever seen has the faded, axanthic-looking neck patch.

It even carries over into some of the combos.
I've seen both Pinstripe Pieds and YellowBelly Pieds with an axanthic-looking patch or blotch directly behind the head, on each side of the neck.

I'm sure others have noticed the Pieds' 'smudge spots' as well.

BTW, Congrats on THAT Pied.
That's a jewel for annnny collection!

Neat Pied. I absolutely hate Pieds but that one's at least interesting. Pretty cool.
