VERY strange behaviour...???

reps-r-us Sep 29, 2003 12:09 PM

I just soaked my bearded dragon. Nothing has changed...same container, same temp. of the water...nothing new.
However as soon as i put him in, he started "scratching" his back furiously...he reached back with his hands scratching and also used his back legs and feet to scratch at his side or back. He then started whipping his tail around (never seen a beardie do that).
Well, very strange.
He finished shedding 2 days ago and has no parasites on him either.
Any ideas???

Mine do that sometimes too. I'm guessing that they feel a droplet of water on their skin & the are trying to get it off? That's the best I've come up with.
