pbcrenshaw May 10, 2011 11:01 PM

This is our first morph for us to hatch. We went 6 for 6 all spiders and we are pretty psyched!

make sure to keep track of all the breedings with whichever spider parent you used, 6/6 is a pretty darn long shot for a het animal to produce. maybe the first documented homozygous spider? only time and more breedings will tell.

let the bickering and retarded theory arguments commence

ehhh we just hatched out 7 fires from a fireXnormal. All 7 eggs hatched and all 7 fires. Just the luck of the draw........ or is it? hmmmm Homo Spider anyone?

Bolitochrome May 11, 2011 07:58 AM

I'd buy it. *shrugs* I still don't see why there wouldn't be a homozygous Spider. Maybe if we ask the OP REALLY nice we can get them to give us data on this pairing the next few times to compare numbers?

What do you think pbcrenshaw? You have a chance to make Ball Python history! Or at least perpetuate some long standing arguments.

It was a spider to normal breeding. Last year we went o for 3. The normals were very reduced like their mom so that was cool. No more than 6 "alien head spots"
