jamaican tree boa?

demonmyst May 11, 2011 01:09 AM

I bought this guy at a pet store down the street. The guy told me he is a jamaican tree boa but I'm not to sure of that. I think it's a solomon tree boa.
Please help!

P.s This snake was a rescue that the owner brought in. he was attacked by a rat .

Not even sure what a "Jamaican tree boa" is. Sure doesn't look like a Jamaican boa (E. subflavus) to me. I would say some sort of Candoia sp. as well. Do you have any more pictures, especially of the head?

I agree with the other poster. It doesn't look like a Jamaican Boa to me either, but rather a subspecies of Candoia. A head shot would prove this quite easily.
