I have a female that ovulated 3/28 and shed 4/6. I would think she would have dropped by now. She is still huge and full. Does it usualy take this long?

Some go longer than others. I've personally had females go 45 days after shedding, and know people who have had females go over 50 days.

Wow..thanks. I am a Boa guy and this is my first time breeding Bps,so it is a little new to me.
....one just went 35 days ,,,one just went 45 days....aaaaaand...
is that pic now or way back when she "ovulated".....because if it's now...it looks like she is just ovulating ....???

That is the Ovulation pic from 3/28..everything I have read says 30 days from pre lay shed so it had me worried. It is just a normal female and pastel male.
Just keep in mind that these numbers that are thrown out are "guidelines", averages if you will!
depends on temps also....alot of my balls have no belly heat, just room temp...so it takes those longer to lay usually...but again, not always....there are no 100% rules...they are all rules to be broken....the 46 day female...probably lives at around 82 degrees all the time....(goes up and down like 79 to 85,,room temp...)...
....good luck...stop watching her.....!

My female pastel dropped 35 days after her shed...not 27 like my other female.
Sometimes it happens.
