Patternless RED (dead) Southern Pinesnak

chondroquest May 11, 2011 08:42 PM

When I bred my Pepper pinesnakes last year they produced an assortment of colors and patterns, but I never expected to see a patternless red Pinesnake when I cut open the eggs that failed to hatch.

I only hatched 3 of 9 eggs, and there were 2 red ones! One was patternless, and the other had a faint pattern.

I am hoping for 100% hatch rate this year, as these red ones are just crazy cool.

Man that is just tragic. What a snake!!! Well, at least you know you've got the potential for one. Please post, or better yet, send it to me, if you do.
