Hypo Jungles and Jungle (Monster Tail)

boaphile May 13, 2011 04:07 PM

Finally a Monster Tail Hypo to Monster Tail Hypo breeding I could attempt. Sort of. The female is a MTH. THe male is a MTH plus a Jungle.

Here is a shot of him as a little guy:

His Mother was a Jungle produced by Rick Stanulis in about 2002 or so. His mother is a Monster Tail Hypo from the first litter that the Monster Tail ever produced in 2000. Her Mother is the "Lopez" Pastel Dream female I have made some of my best babies from over the years. Her father was a MTH from that first litter born in 2000 as well. So at least some level of outcrossing here. Still the outrageous color advantage that comes from the original Monster Tail female herself is the ingredient I capitalized upon in this breeding. That plus the Jungle mutation to add just a little more nitro gave these babies just the kick I was hoping for. Hoping for, but I had no idea this litter would turn out like this.

Here is the pair in passionate embrace around 5 months ago:

And did you see what they made together?

I took about a hundred pictures of them yesterday!

Plus I got great video too!!!

The video will be up sometime this weekend.
