Red-headed dude!

zonatahunt May 19, 2011 01:55 PM

Hey all,

Dave Niles and I were talking the other day and he asked how my Cosala sinaloans were doing. I told him I'd post a photo of my favorite. So here he is in all of his splendor. Btw, if any of you do get the chance to meet and interact with Dave, he's a stand-up guy. The quality of his animals is outstanding and he's a great guy. Anyhow, on to just a couple photos.

...and now a close-up of that ugly head of his.

The female I have doesn't have quite as much red on her snout, but she's still got a lot. Hopefully by breeding the two I can produce a mostly red headed hatchling. Only time will tell, but I should know for sure next breeding season. Take care everyone.

Mitch

Very nice Mitch. I for one can say that those photos don't even do that snake justice either. He looks even better in person. Dave and his collection are awesome. His MD Ltt are incredible.

So what you're saying is...you want a milk to look just like a low band count pyro or zonata?

Lee Abbott used to have "clown" pyros...they were killer...low band count and awesome!

Nice looking milk Mitch!

Man that guy is growing up to be a stunner as we knew he would!

Thanks for the kind words, Mitch. How much do I owe you again? Lol

Here is his mother to your snake, gravid again this year as shown in this pic.

And the sire to her clutch this year - hopefully we'll see a bunch of red heads out of this clutch - this is the first year this male will sire a clutch so my hopes are high

Very nice but in a beauty contest I'd vote for Jerry's. The triad separation is cleaner and facial symmetry is better.

Even your sinaloae resemble coastal zonata. Hmm, are you infusing multifasciata DNA into those sinaloae? J/K! That red is outrageous. That bandcount is awesome.
