every time I get her to eat juvenile rats(which are more appropriate for her size) she refuses them at her next feeding but goes ballistic over the pinkies. Any suggestions on how to get her to stick with the non-pinky rats? Should I just not worry about it and feed her pinkies indefinetley?

. I have a BRB that has similar feeding habits. I got her 11 years ago as a young imported adult. For years she ate normal size meals. About two years ago she quit eating. I tried numerous tricks to get her to eat. Nothing worked until I offered a full litter of pinky rats. She ate them up and every since will only eat pinky and fuzzy rats. I have tried all the tricks I know to get her to take medium rats and she refuses all of them. She is doing well on her diet of fuzzy rats but it sure takes a bunch of them to fill her up. BRBs that are like this are rare. I sometimes offer pinky and fuzzy rats to get one that is on a breeding season fast to restart eating but they always switch back to medium rats after one meal of babies.
