IM TRYING TO DECIDE WHICH TYPE OF SNAKE WOULD BE RIGHT FOR ME. I WANT ONE THATS ON THE BIG SIDE(6-10FT), EASY TO HANDLE, AND NOT TO NIPPY.

I recommend a common/Colombian BCI boa. With proper care and handling they can grow into very calm and rewarding pet snakes. There are many color variations and morphs to choose from. The BCI care requirements are less demanding than many of the other snakes. Bill

I have a male Jungle Carpet Python. He's close to 8 feet but not as big around as a boa. I've had him since he was around 3 feet an he's very good with handling. I can take him out anytime an he doesn't protest. He only tried to bite me once an that was MY fault...he was in a feeding mode.
