Just thought I would share this. I handle my snakes as often as I can. As I was watching TV holding my cal/king, he started nudging my hand like he wanted to borrow a hole through the palm of my hand. He slid his head through my fingers and when he came out the other side, his shed was laying on the back of his head. He went in and out between my finger until he did a total shed. Just thought that was cool.

VERY cool....never had that happen. Definitely with a lady friend, but never a snake. LOL! Then again, I'm not sure many of us really take the time to sit with our snakes and hold them very much just for recreation-like reasons. Very cool indeed.

That is neat! I've had them shed through my fingers but not while just sitting watching TV. Yesterday I was sitting watching TV with my big gopher snake in my lap, and she was quite content to soak up my body heat for an hour or so. She is the only one who likes to actually have prolonged physical contact with me.

Very cool! I have had that happen with a hog and a bullsnake once before, a long, long time ago. I was wondering " what in the world are they doing?" Then, the skin was showing coming off!
