I screwed up. Put the egg box too close to the heat panel. 2 eggs were at about 93, 94 degrees for around 4 days or so. The other 3 in the clutch move when I candle them but the 2 that were hottest aren't. I probably cooked them, huh?

I had eggs hit about 94 for 2 days and live.
I wouldn't count the hot eggs out until they rot. Leave em alone.

Depends if you like them scrambled or over easy.
Short answer; no.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I had a temp spike early on in the season last year with my incubator last year where the eggs got to 95 for twelve hours; all cooked. Weird thing is, none of them looked 'bad'. They were just cooked. 100% death rate.
Sorry.

keep them till they stink and rot.....or hatch....
I wouldn't see why they couldn't hatch,....
I have had colubrid eggs hit 89 alot of times....not for days...but hours...and multiple times...and they hatched fine..not 100% but ...ok...
balls...it gets over 100 in Africa for days at a time...I know the eggs are underground...but the air runs down the termite holes too....so...
keep in there...good luck......

A friends snake room would hit 100 plus with gravid snakes. He had clutches sitting around because the incubators were full. This would only be for a few hours in the afternoons though.
I candled them again last night. They're back down to the perfect temp. Still have strong veins, a few moved when I shined the light in. Just have to sit and wait and see what happens. Now I'm just worried about causing them any deformities. Crazy how no matter what you've encountered in previous seasons, when it's happeining right NOW, it still makes ya feel like you know nothing about eggs. Also keeping in mind that these things are way tougher than people give them credit for. I just REALLY want some Supper Cinnies and Bullets this year. Thanks for the comments, everyone.
How far along are they? If they are almost done, I don't think it would hurt them as easily. After hatching 95 isn't bad, shouldn't hurt just before hatching.
Only 3 weeks in when I noticed. Exactly 21 days.
I think that would be a bad time. Hopefully they aren't deformed. How did they overheat?
I bascially just wasn't thinking and put the egg box right up against the inside of the incubator. Nature's Spirit, so it was right next to the heat panel. I know...Stupid.
Hi Ryan,
They are probably fine. I'd leave 'em alone and see what happens. I had the same thing occur a couple of times with no problems. Hell, I cooked kingsnake eggs at 100F for a day and a half and they hatched perfectly. Remember, a snake egg is an incredibly resilient little orb. good luck.

That's definitely what I'm hoping for. Thanks, Will.
