I have just completed a transaction for two new 2010 females that I figured I can now share with everyone!!!

These two new 2010 females are going to round out the foundations to the hypo line I plan to develop/enhance. I have been super focused throughout on acquiring animals that are flawless color/pattern wise, and that are also as close to unrelated as possible. I feel I have done a pretty good job of this, as both of my males are from 100% unrelated pairings, all of my females are from 100% unrelated pairings, and my hypo blood has come from 4 different out-crossed breedings, from three different breeders. I really do think I have as genetically diverse a hypo group assembled as is physically possible with the hypo gene, and I think this is going to be highly valuable in the years to come.

Anyway, what do you know, I rambled on for longer than I anticipated already!!! haha, oh well!! I guess I will have to do this in a multiple part post…….

These are the new acquisitions I was talking about. First is a 2010 het hypo female I got From Dave's Dot x Mickey Pairing.
I have tentatively named her “Liddia” (will explain why shortly, always like my BRB names to have meanings)

Liddia is DT-MK 1012 or the pretty little girl on the right!!!!

The other female I got is a full visual hypo and I got her from the originator of hypo BRBs, Mr. Lockwood himself. She was born summer 2010, looks to have some NICE crescents including some bullseyes as well!!

Tentatively named her “Ireena”

I got these two names, Liddia and Ireena from some great friends I was fortunate enough to be able to stay with in Switzerland while I visited there back in the Spring of 2009

She is the one with the larger crescents with her head towards the top of the pic here and is actually in shed in this picture!!!!

Figured I better post pictures of my other hypo blooded brbs while I'm on the subject.

This is Diego - He is a 2009 male from down south (as one might guess by this stuck shed he came to me from the breeder with
but nonetheless this picture does show his colors quite nice and accurately

so now I have realized my DIRE need for updated pics of my other (2008)het hypo female Rasheena as well as a current one of Diego as he has grown quite a bit since this above pic!!!

Rasheena - 2008 female het hypo from Dave C again. Produced by his Dumbo x Minnie pairing.

She was named after the daughter of a close friend/brother of mine named Omar who is from Jamaica and lived at my house for the first 6 months of his move to America.

This is also an old pic and in much need of being updated!! She has grown a ton since moving to Missouri and will be easily to breeding size by this coming season!! Now lets just keep our fingers crossed that Diego can handle this biggen lol

Hey Ike, Great pics

A little lineage history for your record books....

As you mentioned, Liddia is from my Dot x Mickey pairing and Rasheen as from Minnie x Dumbo

Dot is a unrelated normal

Mickey and Minnie are siblings from a 2005 litter form Exotics By Nature. They got there breeders from ENV and I believe the het was outcrossed.

Hey, thanks for filling me in on a few of the gaps I had there in my history!!!! I actually didn't realize Mickey and Minnie were siblings but that actually makes sense. Interesting, I still feel I'm pretty good on my outcrossing;diversity efforts!!!

It also helps that my male het hypo, Diego, is from Hummel and is from a pairing of a hypo male he produced from two hets bred to a normal high red female. My plan is to use this super outcrossed stud male to breed both of my het hypo females and then one high colored normal male (Sultan hopefully) to breed my full hypo female. Should have unrelated, very colorful, out-crossed hets available to pair up with my first hypos!!!

On top of this, my females are both from you and Mike!

a 66% het female proved to not be het last year. Typical of my luck. A 50% het female bred by a 100% het male is gravid now. Lots more little ones including visual hypos I got from Ken K are coming along and will be ready next year and the year after.

that sounds great Jeff!!! I know you've got a lot of Rainbow Boas stacked into your place there. I bet more than we even realize. You should post some pics of your hypos and/or your gravid females sometime soon if you get a chance!!!
