ok well i have 2 females and a male BD, and like i have 4 things to ask:
1. Can one of my females (smaller of two, all three in seperate tanks) develop eggs, j/ by seeing my male on the floor bobbing at her, even though she is just 15 or so inches long, and j/ a sub adult?
2. How big is the avg egg, and whats the smallest a fertile/infertile egg could be?
3. Is this normal: when my female is in her tank on the floor, and the male gets set on the floor to display to her, (seperated by the tank of course) he like runs at the tank and bobbs and turns bright colors and a dark beard (i know THATS normal) but then he runs at the glass and acts like he is trying to eat her, like sticking his toungue out and running w/ his mouth open at the glass like he is hungry and wants to eat her....i def. dont want to put them together to breed if my male wants to attack her instead of mating. I dont want any harm done to my female! is this normal?
4. Can my male be bigger than my female to breed, even if they are both of age? Im not talking like a significant difference, but my other female (Cheech) is about 17 inches long and kind of "slim" but my male is a decent weight (aka, kind of fat lol) and he is 17 1/2 inches long. Is this still okay? or will my male crush her?
Thanks for any answers i get in advance!!!!!!
