A Few Gravid Females

KcTrader May 24, 2011 10:27 PM

I was starting to get a headache reading about all the hybrid stuff so here are some real Beauties for everyone...

L.p.pyromelana (male)

L.p.pyromelana (female, 1/3 partially spotted)

Now for some gravid females

Jonel Lopez Line L.p.knoblochi

Steve Osborne Line L.p.knoblochi

Tad Fitzgerald Line L.p.knoblochi (Clown Face)

Dave Barker/Stan Grumbeck Line L.p.knoblochi ( 15 yr old male Clown Face bred to above female, sorry but he was in a shed)

Nothing strange but some sure nice natural phenotypes.

Tell me she isn't gravid?

Yea Jorge she is plump, love it when you get to see between the scales. Keeping fingers crossed on fertile eggs from her, I bred her to my nice white hypo tricolor male. Thanks!

I really enjoyed seeing your fine collection!

My 08 trio in post-lay shed, pre-lay shed, and dingy male shed. Not at their prettiest but they are 100% pyro, and not sullied by any thing else. I don't think one can improve on the natural beauty of pyromelana by adding genes from other species.

I would have to agree Bob, can't improve on something already beautiful in it's own right. I really like that on in the center of that pic. Is she the one that laid eggs for you already? Thanks for the kind words too....

No, that is the one in what I hope is pre-lay shed. She is beginning to look plumper now so there is still hope. The one under her with her head to the left is in post-lay shed, and the male is sort of surrounding the girls.
