I have a japanese cutomer who wants alot of red and yellow ackies. He says they are on cities thus he doesnt want to order them as it takes to long, I say they are not. I am unsure at this point because i have heard many different things.
I have heard you cant export or import from non australian countries(much less oz)
also that you can export but not import, you can import and not export, etc....etc....etc...
I would really like some info if possible.

They are listed as Appendix II with CITES. As far as their export You should contact USFW DMA for all the details on their export. Below is a link to CITES informaiton on the species.
