Word of warning......

Always, always ALWAYS - quarantine new specimens. I recently re-acquired a pair of my 2010 babies I sold late last year. The story is the owner is leaving the country and has to liquidate his collection. I segregated them from my collection and good thing, within a week of their arrival I found mites. Under control and working towards eradication but had I trusted the seller and placed close to my animals I could have had mites get into my collection!!!!

Some of you may have animals from that collection......

Great advice Dave,

Good on you, I have heard of much worse than mites tare-assing through a collection because people just don't take the time to do things right.

One reason all my new snakes go into pre sprayed cages, with Provent a Mite..as a precaution. That and standard quarantine.
