I completely agree with this, Jeremy. But I'm gonna expand on it a little.
Life is too short to be sweatin the small stuff. All of this in-fighting, (which is what this is) does not matter in the least in the grand sceme of things.
NO ONE, is guaranteed tomorrow. Life is a vapor. It comes and goes, and when it goes, it can literally go in an instant. Here are some details of a TRUE case investigation: One minute a woman is driving down the road on her way home from work...NOT texting, talking on her phone, or in any other way distracted. In an INSTANT, on oncoming vehicle swerves out into her lane (later determined to be a planned suicide), striking her head on at an estimated combined speed of approx 130 mph, resulting in a very horrific death to both persons. This happened IN AN INSTANT. The lives of the survivors, of both of the deceased were forever changed. Anything they may have been arguing about with friends, families or otherwise, NO LONGER MATTERS. Does no one else understand this?
Trust me when I say this...Don't sweat the small stuff...and don't take yourselves SO DAMN SERIOUS.
At the end of the day, we're all passionate about our beloved reptiles, and probably all are having to listen to the dumass co-worker make the occasional "only good snake is a dead one" remarks. You see, we ARE all in this together...almost exactly like a disfunctional family...only different (LOL). We ALL champion the cause, purpose, and importance of our reptiles. So why fight about it. And because I have made friends (and these friends know whom I'm referring to) on "both sides of the aisle", I try to stay out of the drama. Although, I really dislike it.
Not looking for a reply...just speaking my piece, as have so many other of my fellow reptile enthusiasts.
Stay safe.
