If a person puts a powerful constricting snake around their neck, they're just begging for something bad to happen. Even letting a snakes face near a persons face is, IMO, REALLY stupid (or it exposes the persons lack of knowledge of the animals, or their inability to think about consequences in the future - either of which is VERY DANGEROUS).
The risk of a snake biting a person's face may be relatively low (or with certain snakes - almost an expectation) and the chance of them nailing an eye, even lower. But... what if... The question one should ask themselves before letting a snake near their face is: "am I willing to be blind because I wanted to be cool?"
Animals of ANY kind should be taken on as a true responsibility with inherent risks to the owner. To remain ignorant of these risks or to disregard them once known is a recipe for disaster - either for the owner, the animal, or perhaps both.
Education and understanding is SO VITALLY IMPORTANT.
