Being I'm very partial to Kingsnakes, especially EASTERNS, I'm glad to see that you have some very nice, clean looking ones yourself!!! They DO look very healthy too!
Thanks for the pics!

Does anyone interested in hybrids have, or know where I can get, detailed information on cross breeding kings with corns?

Thanks everyone for the kind words! They are from Shane Johnson's Rowan County N.C. line!
I can't remember the names of the books but I know one had Snakes of the World in the title and the other was a Ditmars book. In one was a color picture of an awesome Okeetee Corn and in the other was a black and white photo of an Eastern King. Over the years I didn't think it could get any better for those two species. Those Pics made me want to keep the best. And then comes Jeff!!!! The guy doesn't have a sub-standard snake in his collection. Awesome Kings Jeff. They are going to be killers at 7 feet!!!! Newbies learn!!!! This is why you want to get the best quality snakes you can. And then make them even better!!!!! Thanks for sharing Jeff.

I agree Pat....
There isn't alot of folks that have line bred their animals like I think they've should............No doubt some have but not as many as I thought would've by now...........
I wish I had some of those 4th generation Thayeri, Mex Mex and Ruthies I bred back almost a decade ago........They would be producing some unseen things right now.......
It's either folks are not sticking with stuff long enough or they've had to start over......like me...........
I know folks like Rainer and others have been doing it for a while........the results are obvious........
I can't wait to see some of my Mex Mex 10 years from now.............I know folks are not as excited about them as I am but you wait...........they will be.....LOL

Poor planning and procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

I agree Pat!
I think there are a few publications with that in their title, and I think I have two of them. One good general book is "Living Snakes of the World" by ~ John M. Mehrtens. It is a good, thick hard-cover that has the nice closeup of the Emerald Tree Boa on the front. I had the Ditmar's book decades ago too, but have since lost it unfortunately...*sigh*
Love referring to some of those older classics!..
And yes, Jeff C. does indeed sport some great animal's in his collection!

They are real beauties. Getting some nice growth it looks like.
