Finally, some decent photos!

I finally talked Henry into breaking out his camera and getting some real pictures of Garnet! What can I say, I'm on a roll! We had her on a black velvet background. I tried to get a decent photo of her with my favorite celestite specimen, but all she wanted to do was hide under it, so that last photo isn't great but I like it all the same The middle shot was right after she let Henry know in no uncertain terms how she feels about intrusive paparazzi by lunging at the camera!

It amazes me how expressive their faces can be without eyelids or lips!

I think it means that I need bigger specimens :D Hmm...heading to the JCK jewelry show this weekend, I'll have to find more big pretty rocks for photography purposes! My husband describes her as having a moonstone sheen.
