Help!! Leo Not eating

Phish090 Sep 29, 2003 06:19 PM

Help, me 3 yr old leo is not eating, he hasn't for 7 weeks, and im VERY worried, however, the thing is, is that he seems to be in relativly good health, his tail is fat as ever, and he is fairly energetic, i hear hime climbing around in his small plastic tree at night, but he refuses to eat, i always feed him mealworms, i tryed giving him other things liek crikets but its no good, he won't eat anything, he looks at it and then turns away. He feces seems to be fine too, its not runny or anything of the sort, wut could be the probelm!

1. Check his temps, get a fecal done.

2. Are you positive that he isn't just eating when you are not looking? Mine start slowing down in their eating habits about this time of year but don't stop totally. Try some waxies to tempt him.

Yea, it happened last year but not to this extent, im going to try waxies and his temp actually was a little low, i live in a pretty cold area, i bought another under tank heater, maybe it will bring up the overall temperature
