This little girl hatched and is very different looking. Is it the het Ax influence or ??? She had just shed before this pic was shot ??

Very well could be! Markus Jayne had that kind of luck when he produced the Lightening Pied!

All around nice pied and maybe quite a bit closer to a "True Ghost Pied"!

I will have to side with everyone else on this one. Looks like a Hypo Pied. Whatever it is, it looks awesome. What was the rest of the clutch?

Hey thanks everyone. The rest of the clutch was 3.5 double het Axanthic/Pieds (VPI) and none look Hypo except the pied ??

Well its very easy to confirm if she is a hypo pied. Did she shed clear? Is there any pattern on her shed? Paul

On facebook, I saw that you hatched this from pied (or het pied) bred to an axanthic (or het axanthic).

Is it right ?

Meaning, you have an awesome luck that the female axanthic is also het pied and het ghost.

If the female is a het axanthic, may be there was a mix-up and she is a het ghost instead.

Your male is het ghost too, wow

Was the shed totally clear ?

The pairing was a pied male to a Axanthic. I got 9 eggs and ended up with 3.5 normal looking D/H Ax/Pieds and this one female Pied ?? She looks Hypo and her shed was clear but it's still hard to believe !!! ???

So the female has to be het pied? Makes me wonder where this VPI axanthic came from... I have Jolliff's axanthics and a lot of them are long shot poss het pied and hypo, maybe your female is Jolliff line? If not maybe spontanious morphizim? Lol..

Anyway it goes amazing animal!
