anyone working at pandapieds?

adamjeffery May 31, 2011 12:15 PM

i ask this question just about every year this time of the season.
who is working to re-produce the panda-pied? i know its a long project but others have to have the ingredients. it just baffles me that only one has been produced.
i have a theory about it actually.
pied seems to white out heavily when mixed with other morphs. i wonder if the panda is the same case but also a paradox that is allowing the super cinny to show through?
i really would like to see a mostly black snake with white patches rather than an mostly white snake with black patches

Adam, I agree. Seems like there should be more around by now ?? I have a pair of pewter het pieds that should be ready by next year ?? long shot but could happen ? Good luck with your season !

Adam, are you working on them ?

adamjeffery May 31, 2011 10:54 PM

not this year. most likely will have black pastel het pieds next year as well as pied het albino. i really want a panda pied but long projects arent my forte, i am too impatient...lol

I agree, I think that a mostly black snake with white patches would look better than a mostly white snake with a couple of black patches...hopefully somebody will produce one soon!

I thought the mostly white one was pretty cool.

I held back a pair of chocolates last year that I think are het pieds (only 12.5% chance on paper but I’ve been following the belly through three generations). Have no way of knowing what the super chocolate pied will look like but I need to get a pic of the keeper chocolates next time they shed as they are both pretty nice.

We made the first (and only) one a couple years ago, and they girls are swelling up again now, so we should have more this season.

Pics as soon as we hatch them!

I'm working on this project heavily, but
I'm just getting started. I've got 2 clutches
cooking so far; Pied x cinny and pied x Black pastel.

I'm going to need multiple bloodlines to get those
healthy super cinny genes.
