Thanks Jorge, at this rate I may need to change his name LOL

DMong Jun 01, 2011 05:19 PM

"at this rate I may need to change his name"

Maybe from "Limey" to "Whitey" like the kid on "Leave it to Beaver".

Just don't name it after the other kid,.."Lumpy"..LMAO!!

BobS Jun 02, 2011 10:46 AM

I used to watch the original SUPERMAN with all those old fashioned black cars when I was little. ouch....

"Great Ceasers Ghost!" (whatever that meant! LOL)

DMong Jun 02, 2011 01:10 PM

"Great Ceasers Ghost!" (whatever that meant! LOL)"

HAHAA!!.....yep!, "Chief's" favorite phrase!

That was one CORNY show by today's standards, but that certainly didn't seem to discourage us from watching it every single day like clock-work..LMAO!!

I used to love "Get Smart"! I saw it again recently and I could not figure out what the heck I used to like about it. I was puzzled as I watched the whole show, thinking..."I used to like this???"

There usually are ample opportunities to use that post. Very funny. those were my brooksi from a couple years ago..kept one and still have parents...Dave.

DMong Jun 02, 2011 10:55 PM

Cool!. Which one did you keep back?, one of the reddest hatchlings towards the bottom of the photo?

"a snake in the grass is a GOOD thing"

trevid Jun 03, 2011 04:45 PM

yep, thats the one I kept...He was the runt of the litter with the brightest red, he is quite yellow now, but nothing like yours...Both parents have since lost eyesight due to unknown reasons(despite going to repitable vet here in noCal) but they are great eaters and good pets...except for the not seeing part...Dave.

DMong Jun 03, 2011 07:54 PM

Cool!

I am thinking that was probably caused by stuck/retained eye-cap sheds(brille).

trevid Jun 03, 2011 09:46 PM

Not retained eye caps...although dont know exactly what. Both brooksi just happened be kept opposite sides of house too. Affected male first, his eyes slowly looked worse. Went vet twice, got eye drops, no help. When 1st happened, snake would go into shed every 4-5 weeks. Always shed eye caps. female, on other side of house came down 9 mos later. This was Aug '09.. Male's eyes have lost that gold cap look and actually look like eyeball, but dry. You can just tell that he cant see. Have 12 other snakes in house with no problems. To elicit feeding response, have always scratched bottom of cage. This way im not bit when opening cages/cleaning/handling. They still feed like brooksi and female prob overweight...Dave

DMong Jun 03, 2011 10:23 PM

Yeah, that's pretty strange..

I thought it was great also, but after seeing it again recently, I was let down. Maybe it was just not a good episode?

Don Adams was great...Tennessee Tuxedo will not fail!

Jlassiter Jun 02, 2011 10:04 PM

My favorite line from Leave it to Beaver......

"Ward, don't you think you were a little hard on the Beaver last night?"

LMAO!!!!!

Yes, well at least you can have fond memories of "being hard on the Beaver".

Hope you weren't watching Ward as he was though..
