Ok,

I have had my male baldy for about a week now, and I dont know how to stop him from pooping in his water bowl ! He wont poop anywhere else except in the water bowl.Does anyone have any tricks up there sleeves that they can tell me ?

And you're complaining about that??? *L* I find it easier just to change the water bowl than the cage substrate when they do that. I actively encourage my reptiles to bathroom in their water. My snake does it, my Savannah Monitor does it... The geckos don't though..unfortunately. It makes for easier clean up and disinfecting of the cage if they do so. It also makes you keep up with water changes *L*

I agree, It does make cleaning easier ! I just wasnt sure if it was ok for the gek !

I remember with IGs I used to take their poop and put it in the place where I wanted them to go. I'd just leave it there for a day or so and move each poop there. Soon she got the idea and just started going in the litter box I made. Maybe this same trick will work with leos as well.

I had one that did this the first week I had her. All I did was move the water dish to another spot and she continued to pood were the water dish was before. I would do that if you haven't tried it yet.

Yeah I did pretty much the same thing I put poop somewhere and thats where they most likely will go. I put mine on an old tupaware container lid so they just go there and I can clean that off when i need to.
