ovulating

Sorry for the stupid question but how do you know when your snake is ovulating?

Most of the time, but not necessarily always, they will swell substantially in their mid-section in the breeding season. As to exactly "when" this occurs can vary greatly depending on many factors though.

string of pearls, palpatation, err palpate sp? im sure someone will correct me anyway... the will usally swell up noticably in the rear 2/3 also when palpate just let them crawl through your fingers and you can feel ovum often feels like a string of pearls, when/if in doubt throw a male in anyway let your snakes bond if you want eggs support them and you will get them.
