I recently picked up an 09 Ghost female. Was planning on getting a male Motley het Anery to pair her up with but now I have decided to get an Anery Motley instead. I'm pretty certain of most of the offspring possibilities......ghost motleys, anery motleys, ghosts, anerys, motleys het anery, het anerys, hypos het anery, and hypo motleys het anery....are there any other offspring possibilities for this pairing and what do you guys think of this future pairing? Thanks....

a ghost is an anery that also carries the hypo gene, so you are in essence breeding an anery to an anery so all the offspring should have the anery gene.. so no het aneries.

if the ghost is a super hypo (super ghost), then you will acutally get all ghosts and no aneries.

I believ the motley gene usually expresses itself in about 50% of the offspring, so possibly half of your litter will also carry the motley gene. there have been more than a few situations of getting super motleys from a litter with only one motley parent.

so, if the ghost is not a super ghost - then you could get aneries, ghosts, anery motleys and ghost motleys. if the ghost is a super ghost, then you will get ghosts and ghost motleys.

Angry Motleys would not be as cool as Anery Motleys!
I agree with your decision. The Anery Motley male would be a better bet than the Motley het Anery because you wouldn't have any hets!

If you are taking a Co Dom Ghost to an Anery Motley you will get 25% Ghost Motley 25% Anery Motley 25% Ghost and 25% Anery.

If your girl is a Dominant or Super Ghost, you will get 50% Ghosts and 50% Ghost Motleys.
