Very nice splendida!

However, those are "axanthic" splendida, and not anerythristic. Desert kings naturally display yellow pigment(xanthine), and not ANY red pigment(erythrin), so therefore they cannot be an-erythristic. The fact that they aren't a bluish hue as well only means they are different axanthic strain than the other known axanthic splendida in the hobby.

Don Shores(Shores Enuff Snakes) works with several of the splendida morphs you mentioned.

well its nice to know exactly what they are called now. (ill have to let someone know they need to rename what they are selling lol) i was wondering why something seemed off about the name but the coloring was just too nice to pass up lol. i will definately have to check out some of what Don is working with. these may become my new bad habit.

Yeah, they are definitely cool snakes, no doubt about that, but they were improperly termed right from the start like many other snakes in the hobby are. I even talked about this with Don on the phone a while back, and he sort of snickered about it, and went........"hmm, yeah I guess so"..LOL!

It's sort of similar to the anery and axanthic gene in floridana as well. Those so-called "anery's" are very likely a different axanthic strain too, or even actually "hypo-xanthics" since some seem to have a very slight beige off-white..*shrug*

I got all my splendidas from Don Shores (albino, hypo, and axanthic).

Here is one of the albinos I produced from Don's stock a few years ago.
