Anybody use nest boxes?

BuzzardBall Jun 06, 2011 07:57 AM

Since I use newspaper as substrate, I experimented years ago w/nest boxes in the rubbermaids! After a couple years of mixed results, I finally decided that it was a waste of time, money and aggrevation! Now I just keep a close eye on them and harvest them very fresh!

i dont, just make sure the humidity in the cage is sufficient that if you miss them they can stay hydrated until you do find them.
i also remove the water bowl. a habit i got from when i did corn snakes. not sure if balls will lay eggs in the water bowl or not but i wont give them the chance.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
