Do any of the folks that breed in their homes use generators in case of power outages?

We own one for just such a case, but have not needed to use it yet.

Yes,and used it when tornadoes knocked out the power for a week last month.

I got my generator at Home Depot or Lowe's. It was pricey at the time, but given the numerous times I've used it to keep the incubator running while the power is out....worth every penney!
Here in Florida, especially my rural location, I have the potential to lose power with any thunder storm.
