Is this a bad sign?

This is my first ever clutch. I didn't think that she took but she did. Monday night or Tuesday morning she laid a clutch of 5-7 eggs. My incubator just arrived to day. In the mean time I was misting her inclosure. She laid on the heat tape also. When I checked on her this afternoon she left the eggs and was back in her hide. Does this mean the eggs are bad?

Thanks,

Matt

not necessarily.....did you candle them to see if they have veins? if so they are still good....set up your incubator and egg tubs.

good luck!

Don't give up on eggs until they are a green pile of mush.
They're tougher than people think. Candle with a flashlight and look for veins.

Candle for the veins and make sure they are positioned at the top of the egg, get your incubator set up asap, and throw em in!! Like someone else said, eggs CAN take a little bit of abuse, so if they're fertile you should be good!! GOOD LUCK with the clutch and Congrats!!!
