Garnet took a snooze on my arm, so we grabbed a quick snapshot. It's rewarding to have a snake get to the point where they trust you that much. My BP will do that after awhile, but the new JCP is still too skittish - I haven't even been able to get a decent picture of her yet! I'm lucky that Garnet's always been very calm.

that's why i only take picts of them inside a container they'll calm down after about a year. produce about 50 jcps and 100 brbs a year. brb babies are actually nippier than jcp babies! nice pict!

Heh, my JCP has totally outsmarted me - she's figured out she can wedge herself into her hide (it's a "tree trunk" type) so I can't mess with her! I'm going to have to change it for something with easier access lol!

My BRB has always been very mellow. Sometimes she'll give me a grumpy look but she's never even pretended to strike.

That's a cool pic. Could be the set of Masterpiece Theater for snake lovers!

I swear she actually posed today when I whipped out my phone, and the minute I put it away she started cruising again. Think a snake can be vain?
