Adult not eating

RLS Jun 11, 2011 06:19 PM

Hey guy's, I could use a little help. I have an adult that has not eaten in three month's. Before this he ate weekly with vigor.I am not sure about his age,was an adult w/c in 2005. Appears healthy, just shed. Wondering what to do and if I should be worried. Also just removed him from the same room as two adult females thinking this might have some effect on him. Thanks, Lee

Having females around may have had something to do with it. But I am noticing something with this snakes mouth. Is this a recent picture? His mouth seems like it's parted open slightly. That may be the source of his not eating as well? If there is no problem with his mouth or respatory problem, you may want to entice him with a small fuzzy. But make sure there's nothing going on with him first.

He's a great looking animal. He might just be in breeding mode still? Good luck with him!

I have an adult ghost that recently shed, is healthy but won't eat either. Its been about a month or so for mine. He is active though, wanting out of his enclosure. Guess he wants to mate again?
