Petco Dinker

kingofspades Jun 14, 2011 05:55 AM

99% of the time the snakes are my local Petco...suck.
They're dehydrated and shrunken and just all around in bad shape...

But once in a while...you find something like her...for $30...
and well, needless to say she's a new project.

The picture doesn't do her justice. She has a nice neck stripe break, awesome belly, flames and speckling. I have no doubts she will prove out genetic granite. Good appetite too!

And also...a question. If she proves out, is it safe to call her my own line of granite? I mean, she was a Petco find...but I have no way of knowing if she is an already established line...so...

Nice find! Don't get too high though! Most dinkers "dunk"! Another thing to think about, by the time wild caught Balls hit Petco, they've been picked over 15 times!

I was kinda baffled about how she slipped through, but even if she doesn't prove genetic (but if you saw her in person...you'd have no doubt she is), she'll still be a good addition to the breeders. If she had been a male I would have walked away.
