Need your thoughts on this Ghost

ajfreptiles Jun 15, 2011 12:19 PM

I picked this guy up as simply a male orange Ghost but I have not seen many before so when this thing starts getting crazy orange ...I was thinking there may be something else going on...does anyone see anything else going on in this animal? He's great as just a ghost but I have yellow bellies as well and if you think there may be yellow belly in there...it would do me good to breed that direction instead of another way...thanks Andy

He got washed alot in pics so realize he is just crazy orange..

Thanks...I have seen other ghosts and they just looked basic and plain...this one just glows...so I was hoping Kevin from NERD would let me know if anything might be in this puppy...lol...he can see yellow belly in stuff that just boggles the mind...anyway...thanks.

did you pay hypo price? if that's what you paid and that's what it was sold to you as, that's what it is.

i have a hypo female that's just as orange, just depends how well they are bred.

I got lucky...the guy took it as a trade and had a het sister which I should have took as well, but he was told to get more for the females...but it died a week later due to he did not know how to care for them...anyway all he could remember was it was a Ghost...well...I paid $50. bucks...nice eh? Anyway it just looked as though there was more than just Ghost going on... as I have had larger ghosts and they were faded out so I have not had babies around so maybe its just that young stage but just thought I would share and ask...Andy

There is a lot of variation of ghost (hypo).

Different lines of hypos, some compatible, some don't.
But that means there is a lot of variety in them.

I have a few hypo in my collection and they don't all look the same. Some are just yellow, others orange with purple in them (make me think they are nearly black pastel OG but I know they aren't) and some are just green.

So there is a lot of variation and it's good
