A few days ago I post about how I thought my ball python regurgitated its last meal but after was convinced it was just urates. Well again a few days after more showed up in very large clumps. Once again I tried to see if there was a smell and 1 out of the three I smelt had a faint smell. There was still no coloring other than pure white. I did find what I thought was poop but I now don't think it was. It was a light gray with hair on it. Not brown. Was this regurge or not. He's now starting the shed cycle I believe. He's had a pinkish colored stomach for 2 days now but still his eye color remains normal and no actual shedding has occured. Today I walked up to his cage and he quickly balled. Im very worried now. Please help me!

still sounds like urates and normal fecal matter if you are really concerned take a sample and go to a reptile vet in your area. if you have never owned Snakes before i would suggest reading about them. a good read for balls is the complete ball python by Kevin Mccurley. there are a few others out there also. you should learn all you can about them before proceeding any further into the hobby. and especially with ball pythons you hve to learn patience.

The pinky belly sounds interesting to me more than the suspected "regurge".

For the suspected poop/regurge, can you post pictures? It would make a big difference.

For the pink belly, what is your environment exactly? Ambient temperatures, substrate temperatures, humidity, substrate material, cage design, etc?

I like smelt , gutted ,beheaded and dipped in flour and deep fried.....mmmmmmmmm salted and tasty....

white balls...urates....they are chalky and white...maybe green tint or blue tint, even other earthy colors...but they all sort of look alike...

fecal matter, poo, poop, defecates.......it all looks alike...poo is poo....

regurged rodent....it will smell like a regurged rodent...
after you have smelled it you will know what we mean...

smell of defecates or regurge.....it's that easy...

have fun...good luck....!
