The Two Faces Of Eve

Here are a few photos I took of the female paradox super gold blush mojave that I hatched out on May 30. She hatched out a little prematurely and only weighed 31 grams on day of hatch. When she left her egg she was dragging her yoke sac behind her, so I ligated the umbilicus to seperate her from her yoke sac. Sometimes if they hatch with their yoke sac dangling behind them, they can get an umbilical hernia, so I made sure that didn't happen.

She has a great feeding response and has just gone through her second shed in 17 days.

Hatching out snakes like this is like a dream come true.

She was produced by breeding a pair of gold blush mojaves together in fact it was from a brother to sister breeding.

I hope you're all having a great season.

Sweet deal....paradoxes are cool Brian....I only ever made one (lesserbee with alot of black)....congrats...!
when I get a baby with a yolk sac still attatched....I just throw them in a wetted deli-cup so it cannot drag on anything...then keep them in the incubator till it is taken care of.....

good luck....!
