Litter #2 - jungle albinos & Moonglow

tcdrover Jun 19, 2011 12:51 AM

I was totally caught by surprise this morning. I just fed this
girl on wednesday. I didn't think she'd have babies for another
few weeks. She had a nice small, diverse litter, just 8 babies.

This is my big coral albino, het for anery. I bred her to a
hypo jungle who proved out to be het for albino and anery.

Do you think the anerys are jungles, or the sunglow?

Wow , I wonder who produced the father. That father was an Orangasm hypo 66 het albino and 50 het albino.. Talk about hitting the odds. I should of kept that buGger instead of letting your gooey hands have him. too bad it was such a small litter... Congrats

Huge congrats on a great pairing and litter! Looks to be a small litter?
Looks like you got a very nice sunglow and albino jungle! I do not think the anery hit on the jungle gene... The moonglow I'm not sure of... Need an overhead shot to see better. If it is a moonglow jungle it will be a first!
For sure one of the nicer albino females I've seen! And that pic with the baby, awesome!!

Thanks, there were a number of slugs.

There were 8 babies in total. I just had another give birth this
morning and I have two other ones that are right about to burst
as well. I'm kind of happy about the small litter size.

I'm not an expert but I think you might have a moonglow jungle. I can only really see some markers on that one and one of the albinos.Congrats and good luck!

I'm thinking that the Moonglow and the Albino in this image might be Jungle , possibility on the Sunglow I think too.

I want to look at that Hypo I think it might be a clear cut Hypo Jungle

Big huge Congrats TC . . . . . . . . . . .

Thanks Lar, the hypo isn't a jungle but I one of the normals is
definetly a jungle.

I'm happy about that litter. I had a sharp litter this morning
which was kind of disappointing. I only got 2 sharp albinos
and no sunglows.

How is your season shaping up?

My season turned out horrible !

Hopefully this next season I'll have a good season.

I potentially can produce babies from Boas I produced.

Congrats on the litter.
And this, this is now one of the best birthing type pics I've ever seen. Well done.

Thanks, she's easy to take good pics of.

She was docile all the way through too. I had no problems at all
taking her out of the cage

I completely agree and was logging on just to say the exact same thing! I love that photo.

The albino in the middle group shots screams jungle to me, the others not so much. I have no idea about the moonglow though except that is is beautiful!
congrats

Thanks, she is one of my favorite boas. She looks just like a dragon.

There's a normal jungle too in that litter. I'll probably end up
keeping it along with the moonglow and jungle albino.

After they shed I'll probably post some pics.
