This is one of the 15 Southerns we hatched in all. One died shortly after leaving the egg. He was tiny and his egg was pretty beat up the whole time. The other weas born pretty severly deformed, missing one eye and the umbilicus was attached near the head! It never made it fully out of the egg as a result and croaked. Can't have 'em all.
I figured I'd post this pic because it was one of very few that were in focus, showing the egg tooth so clearly.
